Mere end 35.000 deltog i San Francisco til den internationale aktionsdag mod krigen.
Omkring Det Hvide Hus i Washington var der - ifølge politirapporter (!) - mindst 75.000 i demonstrationer med fokus på støtte til palæstinensernes kamp.
